Dakota State...Forced a fumble against Missouri State and recovered a fumble

the MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week following the Illinois State game,
as he blocked a punt and returned it eight yards for a touchdown...Finished
the Illinois State game with three tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, one fumble
recovery, one quarterback hurry, one pass breakup in addition to his blocked
punt returned for a TD...Had 17 tackles on the season and 1.5 tackles for a
loss...Led the team with two blocked punts on the year, both of which were
returned for touchdowns...Intercepted one pass and returned it 36 yards for a
touchdown in SIU’s overtime win over No. 15 Northern Iowa, Oct. 9...Had a
season-high four tackles against the Panthers...Received the team’s Lunch Pail
Award that goes to the defensive player who best exemplifies unselfish, blue
collar play for his performance in the Illinois State game...Received the MVFC
Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award, which requires a minimum
GPA of 3.2 for the previous two semesters.

Conference honors in 2011...Started all 11 games at left guard as a redshirt
freshman in 2010, helping Saddleback to an 8-3 record, the No. 2 seed in the
Southern California Football Conference Playoffs and the Southern California
Bowl...Redshirted his freshman year at Saddleback and learned under
offensive line coach Jackie Slater, a seven-time Pro Bowler and member of
the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

for 1,959 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior...Participated in the 2010
Nike South Florida All-Star Game...Passed for over 1,800 yards and tossed
17 touchdowns against just three interceptions at Flanagan High School in
2009...Threw for 1,112 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions
as a sophomore.
