Competed primarily in the pole vault during his fresh-

three indoor meets (Saluki Fast Start, SASF Invitational, and
McDonald’s Invitational)...Notched a fifth place finish in the
high jump at the McDonald’s Invitational with a mark of 6-02.25
(1.89m)...Placed fifth at the SIU Spring Classic in the pole vault,
finishing with a height of 13-02.25 (4.02m).

Won the sectional championships in the pole vault
and was on the winning 4x200 team as a senior...First team all-
conference in the pole vault as junior and senior and second team
